The Maxwell® RSC RNA FFPE Kit is used with the Maxwell® RSC Instrument (Cat.# AS4500) and the Maxwell® RSC 48 Instrument (Cat.# AS8500) to provide efficient, automated extraction of RNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) mammalian tissue samples. The Maxwell® RSC Instrument can process up to 16 samples, and the Maxwell® RSC 48 Instrument can process up to 48 samples in about 40 minutes. The purified RNA can be used directly in downstream amplification-based assays such as RT-PCR.
