The QuantiFluor® ssDNA System contains a fluorescent single-stranded DNA-binding dye (492nmEx/528nmEm) that enables sensitive quantitation of small amounts of single-stranded DNA (ssDNA).
The QuantiFluor® ssDNA System was developed using the fluorescence module of the GloMax®-Multi+ Detection System and the QuantiFluor™-ST Handheld Fluorometer. The Quantus™ Fluorometer was optimized for use with the QuantiFluor® Dyes, including the QuantiFluor® dsDNA Dye. The QuantiFluor® ssDNA System can be used with any fluorometer that is capable of measuring fluorescence at the appropriate excitation and emission wavelengths.
