Calculating Your Sales Tax
Promega GmbH´s sales are subject to VAT according to the German VAT law (UStG). Sales in Germany are usually taxed applying a rate of 19%.
Claiming Tax Exemption
Within the European Union the exports are tax free if the client submits his VAT-ID-Number of the country where the client is seated. In special cases a tax exemption is possible due to a special status or a particular certificate (e.g. sales according to the NATO-Forces-Agreement). A proper documentation is required. Please provide us with these documents.
