Marcel Thiele
Field Application Specialist
Promega GmbH
Marcel was born in Berlin and graduated as BTA from the Lise-Meitner Schule. Furthermore, he received a Dipl.-Ing. in Medical Biotechnology from the Technical University Berlin. After working at the Fraunhofer IZI in Golm (2010 to 2011) he changed to the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Genomics (MPIMG) where he focused on expression analysis of genes implicated in endoderm development. Marcel joined Promega in 2014. As a Field-Application Specialist, he is providing support to scientists in northeastern Germany. Being in constant exchange with customers and scientists from Promega’s Technical Service he could gain a deep understanding of common pitfalls of RNA analysis. This knowledge, spiked with his own experience, has been nicely combined into this RNA workflow webinar.
